These posters utilise the language used by crowdsourcing websites to highlight the exploitative nature of the crowdsourcing model. The background illustrations, inspired by corporate visual language, place the text in this commercial context. The abstracted flowcharts, Venn diagrams, arrows and organisational charts set the scene for the clarion call of the overlaid text. Presented in a newspaper headline style, the bold print shouts marketing jargon that may prove to be too good to be true. Although the phrases are promising and exciting, designers should be aware that they may represent the unfair exploitation of creative work and intellectual property.
